EVE Online developer's economy blog
For a regular player it is not easy to follow the markets in an online game: He can only see snapshots of it, and only when he is online. Often past sales are invisible to players, or only a limited history is available. Ever wondered how much more information a dev would have? Then have a look at this EVE Econ Dev blog, where one of the devs shows you the complete history of the EVE Online metal market over the last 3 years.
Thanks to Thoms for sending me the link.

Any chance someone can copy the text and post it on a blog? The site is blocked for me at work, but I would love to read it.
Oh that's awesome. I'd love to see one of some notables in WoW. I've been privleged enough to have noticed the wierd changes in Wool Cloth on my server. Some enterprising guy bought it all out and posted it for twice it's original price 2 years ago, and now it's 4 times what it was at first. O.o
Eve is such a wonderful game. That's where the devs (or gms or whatever) are using their powers to further their own agenda. :)
