European Spring

When in late 2010 in several countries in the Middle East and North Africa a series of protests, often involving violence, erupted, we called it the Arab Spring. If we apply the same logic to Europe today, we should call the current events the European Spring.

Some people will argue that the Arab Spring protests were more pro-democracy. But it seems obvious to me that the people currently protesting in Europe aren't satisfied with their say in the European democracies either.

Who wants to bet on the outcome being similar to the Arab spring?
A lot of talk, but ultimately the enablement of regressive forces.

Watch democratic rights being waved in favour of confiscation from "evil millionaires" and to suppress the "wrong" political views.
