MMO Simulator

I don't usually promote games I haven't played yet. But in this rare case, I'm willing to make an exception, because the concept is interesting: What if you were running a MMORPG? How do your game design decisions affect players, and how will those players react? MMO Simulator is trying to answer those questions. The game is scheduled to come out on December 11, but you already play a free demo.

This being a game from a single developer, the graphics obviously don't resemble real MMORPGs with million dollar budgets. But I find the art style charming. And while there is a lot of menus, in which you can design everything down to the abilities of the character classes in the game, there is also a lot of observation of the results of your choices. Your virtual players even post on a game message board, so you can read what they are thinking.

I can't say yet whether the game will be fun in the long run, but the demo has quite positive reviews, so it might be something you want to check out. I will keep an eye on the game.
